Regional appellation for varietal white wines made from the Aligoté variety in Burgundy in France. These wines are also described as the „Muscadet of Burgundy“. The commune of Bouzeron is entitled to its own AC. The wines are fresh, and should best be drunk young. They are also the basis for the aperitif known as Kir, which was invented here. Well-known producers include Domaine Boyer-Martenot, Domaine Chevrot, Domaine du Corps de Garde, Domaine de la Tour, Domaine Verret, Madame Edmond Chalmeau and A. & P. de Villaine.
