Subject: RE: Haart Piesport, was: lighter, sweeter |
| Hello Jochen Müller. Thanks for your note. I stand corrected. The English is good with few errors but, as you say, not quite clear. I've read the German version which I agree does not have quite the same implication. Anyway I think you would agree he makes excellent wine although it's a few years since we've drunk any. -----Original Message----- From: wineforum_owner@apris.de [mailto:wineforum_owner@apris.de]On Behalf Of Jochen.Mueller@uni-jena.de Sent: 04 August 2004 13:23 To: wineforum@wein-plus.com Subject: [wineforum] Haart Piesport, was: lighter, sweeter wines > If you're interested in Reinhart Haart he has a website at www.haart.de > (Can I stress I have NO contact with him). His website implies he owns the Piesporter > Goldtröpfen vineyard (see Classified Sites on his website) - HE DOES NOT. > Goldtröpchen, one of several sites in Piesport which I have previously > listed, is 82.3 hectacres in size. So let's > hope that is clear. No, David, Haart only claims that he owns the small Kreuzwingert in sole ownership. The formulation of the English translation may be somewhat unlucky but look at the German version... Best, Jochen Müller --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
