Dear Randy,

You live in one of the most German wine-accessible regions of the country.
There are literally dozens of good wine stores in the metro New York area that
have good selections, and what's more, are knowledgeable about these wines.

You might try these wine stores: Chelseay, Colombia, Union Square, K and D,
Chambers. There are many others. The thing to look out for is someone who
will take time to talk to you and educate you. My own regular German wine
advice can be found at www.myspeakerscorner.com/forum/index.phtml?fn=1, as
well as on this site.

Best, John Trombley
