Subject: We're going Versteigerungen!

To our friends in Germany,

Barbara and I are coming to Germany for 17 days in September and hope to
make the four major producer auctions--the three VDP auctions and the
Bernkasteler Ring. While I've visited the Rheinland-Pfalz winemaking regions several
times already, this will be the first auction for us. Perhaps we'll see some
of you there.

We like to stay in small quiet towns in the Mosel or Saar area and are still
looking at offers for economical accommodations, such as Fereinwohnungen.
Any suggestions for favorite inexpensive dosses?
