I'm with you on this one John. I don't know if anybodies noticed out there,
but the better Aussie red wines age really well for 5 to 7 years so I always
keep a number of bottles laid down. The result is a far fruitier, less harsh
wine and far more enjoyable as well. I'd be very uncomfortable if screw caps
started to appear on these as well. Sounds like change driven by fashion
rather than common sense.

To me it's a well fostered ('scuse the pun) myth that Aussie reds should be
drunk young, aged they really do give the French a run for their money.
