Dear Klaus, do you have any more details about the various regions and how they are being affected? Best, John Trombley In a message dated 10/11/2006 12:28:00 P.M. Here in Germany winemakers selecting like crazy to harvest non infected berrys. All that rain in August, and then at the beginning of Oktober created a lot of rot. The yields are very low too. Up to 60 % loss, a lot of grapes were just unusable for winemaking. What a mess. Some say it is worse than 2000! From France I hear none better. They got hit hard too! How is vintage quality in other countries/continents. Who knows how California was?
