Dear Klaus,

do you have any more details about the various regions and how they are
being affected?

Best, John Trombley

Hello Members of the forum,

the vintage 2006 seems to quite bad, I guess. Here in Germany
winemakers selecting like crazy to harvest non infected berrys. All
that rain in August, and then at the beginning of Oktober created a
lot of rot. The yields are very low too. Up to 60 % loss, a lot of
grapes were just unusable for winemaking. What a mess. Some say it is
worse than 2000! From France I hear none better. They got hit hard
too! How is vintage quality in other countries/continents. Who knows
how California was?

Kindest regards

Klaus
