Subject: RE: What do Germans themselves drink?

definetly they don't go for expensive stuff such as spatlese trockens.
Howewer since Riesling usually benefits greatly from cellaring and as I
understand it would not be your every day drink I would purchase some
quality bottles.I am fond of Franken wines and I know that some excellent
producers from that part of northern Bavaria sell well in the States.I'm
sorry I cannot give a more specific answer to your question but I would
really avoid multi-million bottles labels
