The best Lembergers you will find in Austria, in
"Mittelburgenland" with villages called Horitschon,
Neckenmarkt, Lutzmannsburg or Deutschkreutz. The Name for
the Grape-Variety here is called Blaufränkisch. If you go to
the wineguide here you can find a lot of Blaufränkisch with
english tasting notes:

Hi Tony,
sorry not to have replied sooner! Lemberger is very popular
in this region
(Baden-Württemberg) and often you will see Trollinger mit
Lemberger which is also very good if you like that style of
drinking. Again it is variable depending on the vintner and
I have no idea which to choose except according to price.
The more expensive the better quality! We were given a
bottle of "Vivendo" 100% Lemberger 2002 which was excellent.
This came from Weingärtner Willsbach eG, D-74182
Obersulm/Willsbach Maybe if you put that name into Google
you would come up with an address. Also Google "Lemberger"
and you come up with allsorts of interesting reading! Got me
hooked it did!!! All the best, Colin
