Peter, please excuse the little correction, but Gimmeldinger Meerspinne is
not a vineyard but a "Großlage" consisting of the vineyards of several
villages north of Neustadt. Such wines are not always bad, since some
better producers (e.g., Ullrichshof), obviously with several small
Parzellen in different vineyards use this Großlagen name for some of their
wines. However, I also would not buy without tasting the wine before.
