| Hi Peter The Kabinett is by Rudolf Steigelmann from Pfalz. Not a VDP member I guess. The Matthias Müller you mentioned is new to me. Oh man! I love Riesling Spätlese halbtrocken. It's like sweetness and tartness balancing on a needle point with lots of fruits. Perhaps no one carries it Singapore. German wines are miserable here. They are regarded as weak, shallow, uninteresting and not worth a dollar. The fact that they are not too high in alcohol, I can enjoy more of it with my meals. To me they are delicate and flavourful. Many of my friends who go only for the high alcohol New World wines think I am alcohol shy. What I did not tell them is that, besides German Riesling, I drink a lot of Scotch too - who is alcohol shy?
