Thanks for the replies to my query concerning my Ahr wines. So they
were much older than I thought Pinot Noirs could be! They were not
too bad -both very similar: fruity but rather sweet, so they lacked a
'bite', but pleasant to drink before a meal. The '75 was a Kabinet but
OK (no need to pour it down the drain) and the '71 a Spatlese. And not
too expensive - 7.99
& 8.99 (in Koblenz).
