Just a short note from an American that has been living here in Germany for
the past eight years. I have lived in Bad Kreuznach for four years, then
in
Bamberg for two years, and now in Eltville for the past two years. I have
been exposed to (and partaken of) a considerable amount of wine from these
three separate wine producing areas and am currently living in a Weingut
(Adam Hulbert) in Eltville.

My personal favorite in the eight years that I have been here is a
PORTUGIESER und DORNFELDER produced by;

Weingut Porscha
Ernst-Ludwig-Straße 8 u. 10
D-55576 BADENHEIM
Tel.: 0049-6701-32 79
Fax: 0049-6701-82 75
E-Mail: weingut.porscha@t-online.de

Mr. Porscha also has a wonderful white wine, BACCHUS, which my wife and I
both thoroughly enjoy.

I know that it is all a matter of taste but in the 8 years that we have
been
here, Mr. Porscha's wine is the best I have had and it will take a really
spectacular wine to beat his. The Porscha Weingut website is

www.nightstory.de

I visited the site you have listed below and was disappointed to see that
you did not have Mr. Porscha listed in your list of Weinguts.

Thanks!

GARY,

i just finished running up and down the mosel after the bernkasel-kues wein
symposiom. along with some incredible wines...and some bad ones.......

by bad....i mean less than incredible. i forget what is sold throughout the
US as german wines...the farm wines...the shipper wines...

if you think you have someone worth importing to the US....let me know. we
rep several german wineries....some of the best, actually...but are always
finding more than nobody heard of...that are doing an incredible job.

we also do tours for american groups...importers/journalists....and need to
fill out what we hve outside the mosel or rheingau.

i learn something every day...and have been reading this site for
awhile...and am wonderfully impressed.

thanks

gordon
