What's wrong with Ahr-wines from 1971 (I hope, it was a Auslese or at
least a Spätlese, otherwise dump it down the drain!) or from 1975? Such
old wines may tell you things from the old time!
I recently found an Auslese from the Mittelrhein-area from 1975 in
Boppard - perfect in shape and flavour; it's price: 12,80 €! There are
still wines around like that; their dominating problem is the state of
the kork!
Cheers, Werner.
