| Hi All, My name is Le Roy and I am trying to find out if anyone knows any way to order items from Bergsträsser Winzer and get them to the U.S.? Thanks Le Roy syd_spalding@tiscali.co.uk wrote: Hi, I agree with Werner, the Middle Mosel produces superb riesling wines in the lieblich style. It is unfortunate that UK retailers seem obsessed with Dry wines and generally only stock lesser quality german wines. Typical restaurant wine lists offer Piesporter Michaelsberg riesling wine which is very ordinary and does not reflect what is generally produced in the Mosel, e.g Piesporter Goldtrophchen or Wehlener Sonnenuhr etc. Cheers Syd Spalding >-- Original Message -- >Date: Thu, 31 Mar 2005 11:14:41 +0200 >To: wineforum@wein-plus.de >From: "Werner Müller" >Reply-To: wineforum@wein-plus.com >Subject: [wineforum] Re: Hi Fellow Wine Buddies, I've a Question > > > >> >>Hi >>Considering the global trend for Dry wines, do you guys or ladies >>think the Lieblich style for Riesling will remain viable? >>Will Germany stop the production of fruity wine (a mildly sweet >>Spatlese for example) in the near future? >>Regards >>Raymond >>Singapore. >> >>This message was created using the Web-based forum : >>www.wein-plus.com/forum/ > >I'dont think so!
