| I have no idea of the quoted wines in details, but remember that exactly the same may apply to the responsible stuff in the French supermarket (most of them have good knowledge of potatoes, salad, milk and shoes, but absolutely not about wine). So the simply reason might be that there are several cases of the Spätles e that HAVE to SELL eventually, but only some remaining bottles of the Kabinett! Kind of a "SOLDES" ! I have seen several times a gread deal of error in supermarkets in France - to my benefit: - Grand Vin of a reknowned Bordeaux-Chateau priced the same as the 2nd wine - Fine vintage of Bordeaux priced the same as small vintage - Grand-Cru Burgundy with same price as Village wine - a single bottle of Cote-Rotie between cheap Cotes-du-Rhone (same price) and so force .... ;-) I´m not sure, but that COULD be the reason!
