Subject: Re: Kabinett Cost More Than Spatlese - |
| Hi Peter I have given the following details to Utz. 1) 2001er Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett - Rotlack (red seal) halbtrocken: $55 2) 2001er Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Spätlese (late harvest) - Grünlack (green seal) mildly sweet: $28. Please note that the Grünlack was $66 two months ago whereas the Kabinett - Rotlack remains unchanged. They are sold at our local French Carrefour Supermarket. What has caused the price of the Grünlack to drop so drastically? Could it be the sugar? It seems the whole world has switched to the dry style.
