Hello Colin,

there are a lot German red wines that can develop for several years but you
have to select carefully because there are still a lot oft producers -
especially in Württemberg but also in other regions - who make easy-drinking
(and fast-to-drink) wines. Another problem may be the missing expierience of
lots of winemakers in producing well-aging red wines. But the know-how is
increasing fast.

You will find all the vineyards and much more recommended producers of good
german reds here: www.wein-plus.com/german_guide/index.html but don't
hesitate to ask for further informations if You can't find them there.

Yours

Sam
