Thx, Wolf....

& for our english speaking friends between the = = marks a
humble trial of a translation..

= = start of trans = =
On a tiny space of garden, in an old monastery garden at the
Liebfrauen Church, a celebrated wine is growing. Less than
half a hectare are surrounded by the wall of the Liebfrauen
garden itself (= "beloved Maria´s garden" / because
"Liebfrau" is another word for Jesus´ Holy Mom / remark from
the translator Bernd B). As small as this is the
neighbouring capuciners monastery garden, with this combined
it is two and a half hectar of a similar / fitting soil -
that´s all what we are allowed to name "Liebfrauenmilch"
soil. But how much Liebfrauenmilch wine is going out into
the world.... The original price of a 1893 Liebfrauenmilch
Klostergarten is about 5 Reichsmark (Emperor Wilhelm II.
money & times). It is a painful fact that there are
irregular huge amounts of wine around Worms being re-branded
as Liebfrauenmilch, and only the "Luginsland"
(LookIntoTheCounty, outlook point) is sailing under it´s own
flag.

= = end of trans = =

This is a very old statement, but the "thing" seems to have
remained the same for 100 yrs... And the shame is remaining
the same. As a german and a wine enthusiast I am sorry for
the millions of people allover the world who are treated so
lousily by this types of german sweet "wine" like
Liebfrauenmilch and Blue Nun and Oppenheimer Kroetenbrunnen
and Kroever Nacktarsch and and..

They may be seen as a german revenge for Burger King &
McDonalds..

Ask your dealer to spend´em to the salvation army... and if
you can get them pls. buy the real things: wines like
Rauentaler Baiken, Erbacher Marcobrunn, Wehlener Sonnenuhr,
Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr, Uerziger Wuerzgarten,
Bopparder Hamm, and a huge amount of other correct wines.
Ask Sams Wine Guide (Marcus Hofschuster @
www.Wein-Plus.DE ). This will tell you.

cheers also

Bernd
