Subject: Wine

I have to agree that some of the sweet wines ( Blue Nun , Black tower) are not good. My husband says , "Nothing in a blue bottle , please!!"
But in defense of the better ones we are able to buy here in Alabama, I have to say some are very good. We have made two trips to Germany to the Mosel and Rhine wine producing areas. We also had some great wine and some not so great there. So, I think it has much to do with the particular wine and not so much to do with the wine as a whole. I certainly hope the area continue to produce that wonderful wine- just let the buyer beware that there are bad ones out there as well as the good ones. As in all wine tasting , it is up to the individual to develope a standard
of acceptable and unacceptable wines based on his own preference. I say, "If you like it , buy it !"
