A good question but one thing I do know is that the UK still import
loads of sweet Lieblich wine in the form of Blue Nun and Black Tower
so someone is drinking this rubbish and Germany is very happy to
oblige! The better class of Lieblich wines are still consumed in
great quantities here so I don't think there is any let up in
production unless someone else is better infomed.
