I agree with Werner, the Middle Mosel produces superb riesling wines in the
lieblich style. It is unfortunate that UK retailers seem obsessed with Dry
wines and generally only stock lesser quality german wines. Typical restaurant
wine lists offer Piesporter Michaelsberg riesling wine which is very ordinary
and does not reflect what is generally produced in the Mosel, e.g Piesporter
Goldtrophchen or Wehlener Sonnenuhr etc.
