Nose still fairly closed, light hint of berries, old oak and roasted notes. Plums and preserved berries on the palate, slightly tart fruit, hint of cherries in the background, uncomplicated style, integrated, moderate tannins, appears farily open, but also shows some backbone, attractive finish.
