The estate is located in the commune of Gösing am Wagram in the Wagram wine-growing region in Lower Austria. It was created in 1995 through the amalgamation of two wine estates, Litana and Wachstum Söllner; the wines have been marketed under a joint label since the 2004 vintage. Fruit is grown on a two-hectare plot. The estate is run by Daniela Vigne and Toni Söllner. The vineyard area totals 15 hectares, with holdings in the Berg Eisenhut, Bründlgraben, Fumberg, Gsang, Hengstberg and Himmelreich sites. 80% of the area is planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner and Riesling, the remaining 20% is planted with the red varieties Zweigelt and St. Laurent, as well as with some experimental varieties. Biodynamic vineyard practices in line with the guidelines of organic agricultural production are implemented. This includes the use of natural cover crops as well as not using synthetic materials or biocides. Dr. Uwe Hofmann is active as a consultant, and state controls are carried out every year. Depending on the type of wine, fermentation takes place in either stainless steel tanks, in large oak barrels, or in ceramic containers. Depending on the type of wine, they will be matured for varying periods of time in barrels of different sizes, of eith oak or robinia wood, or in ceramic tanks. Fining, using bentonite or lime, is used only where necessary. The premium wines include the Grüner Veltliner Fumberg, Grüner Veltliner Hengstberg, Grüner Veltliner Wogenrain, Roter Veltliner Sonnseit´n, Riesling Vogelthen, Roter Veltliner Reserve (matured in 500-litre oak barrels for eight months) and the red blend „Oibelos“ (Zweigelt, St. Laurent and some Merlot, matured in barriques for 18 months). Oibelos is a term from Celtic mythology, and translates as fire or the sunny side. Annual production is around 70.000 bottles of wine. In addition, bottle-fermented sparkling wine, spirits, cidre (apple wine) and fruit cordials are also produced. The estate is a member of the Weingüter Wagram and Bioveritas associations.

The tastings of the 2004 and 2005 vintages served as advance notice of the range of wines of the 2006 vintage now presented, almost all of which were very good indeed. The estate produces a reliably high standard of quality. You can also taste the fact that organic winemaking is not just a slogan here. They are independent and characteristic, bound to their soil in the best sense of the term. You have to give them time and analyse them carefully, each wine is an independent personality. Lovers of slightly different wines will be able to find wines to their taste here, particulaly among the Rote Veltliner wines, which play an important role at the Söllner estate.
